The Magnus Fusion was designed to bring unique and extraordinary flying experiences to the general public. The Fusion is reliable, economical, comfortable, and affordable.

The aircraft is a low-wing monoplane, whose tapered and symmetrical wing geometry delivers better aerobatic capabilities. Large control surfaces also improve the overall maneuverability of the aircraft. The entire aircraft shell is composed of high-tension carbon fiber and honeycomb or foam PVC at the core to allow for accelerations of -3G to +6Gs.

The main load-bearing element of the fuselage is a welded CrMo (chromium-molybdenum) steel frame to which the wing and main landing gears are attached. The engine mount and the welded elements of the control systems are also composed of the high-tensile CrMo steel.

The spacious cockpit offers enough room for a majority of pilots and passengers, with the large and frameless canopy providing a panoramic view of the landscape. The ergonomic seats provide world-class comfort during long flights; pedals may be set in accordance with the pilot’s height, with optional autopilot to maximize comfort.

Each aircraft is equipped with a ballistic recovery system and titanium firewalls to improve flight safety. The 90-liter fuel tank, of which 86 is consumable, provides a range up to 1000 km, depending on the engine and propeller selection. Tricycle, non-retractable landing gears that are steered using differential brakes allow for optimal stability. Electronically controlled flap and elevator trim are basic features of the aircraft that are controlled by the joystick.

Fusion may be customized with a wide range of optional equipment and features. Engine configurations offer various versions of Rotax 912 and ULPower 260 engines, while propellers may be chosen from MT, Duc, or Woodcomp. Additionally, the aircraft can be configured with traditional instrument panel or a state-of-the-art glass cockpit with Garmin or Dynon systems.
